Smile Got pr - suitable job for me and my wife

Dear Friends,
We just got our PR. I am a Texile Technologist with MBA in Marketing Specialisation. Have put more than 2 decades experience in India.
Currently doing Business in a small level.

My wife is a MSW (Socila Work) Degree holder, working as Lecturer in India. Undergoing Phd work.

What are the chances for getting a job - if not a suitable one for my Degree and Experience. I am sure my wife can be placed suitably in Social Work sector.

Since the Textile Industry of Canada is small, so too jobs in that sector. However I can work as Marketer / Administrator / Manager etc.,

Also enlighten me , if it is possible to find a job in Canada , prior to moving in. I am told, employers wont entertain applications from outside Canada, without reference , if at all.

I am prepared to look for Jobs in any sector, to stay afloat.

Await your inputs - to guide us in the right direction.

With Best Regards,
MC.

Hi there,

Maybe it will be wise to wait a couple of years before you move to Canada. The economy is not in good shape and people get laid off every day. A lot of companies actually outsource jobs in India...
