Unhappy Payroll jobs are so hard to get if you don't have experience

I am a graduate student from Fine arts with interest in payroll. I took CPA level 1 certificate with no experinece in this field. It's very tough to find a job in this area with no experinece. Every payroll posting needs at least 2 years of experience. It's so hard... I mean if there is no where to begin with, then I will never get experience in payroll. They don't even let you volunteer in payroll.

Now I am stuck. Does anyone can give me any suggestions?

Thanks!

This is a problem with every profession. Everybody wants experience these days... You need to find an entry level job as an assistant or something and after 1-2 years you will get promoted or if not you will have the experience and can move on from there...

Thanks Tsveta for your advise. Right now I am working full time as a data entry clerk. The company is a US company and it doesn't have HR in this location. I don't know if they will ever get me into payroll afterwards.....Let's hope so.

Why don't you apply to some small companies just to get experience, well this
is what some applicants do now, they first get some experience before applying to big companies
