Italy is a beautiful country. Wherever you go you will find amazing buildings, architecture and people. You can go to Venice, Verona and Milan. They are located within a short distance and I recommend them to everybody. I personally liked Verona more than Venice! It is must see place! Milan has the biggest cathedral I have ever seen! It is an astounding sight!
You can go south and visit Rome and Florence. Or you can visit all of them!!! It is a beautiful country!

Viva Italia! Head to some of the villas and countryside too, the people are quite hospitable, perhaps they will indulge you in a game of pickup soccer!

I’ve been in Rome. It's beautiful city! You will need at least 5 days to see all the major places of interest and a piece of advice, wear comfortable shoes
By the way the Coliseum is not so big
