Default PR vs. Work permit

Hi,
I applied for PR in February 2007 in Berlin, Germany. Recently, I have been offered a job (as a researcher) at one of the Canadian Universities. Do you think, my PR application process will be expedited because of that offer? Does not it mean dual intent? Please advice.

Yes, your application will be processed faster with the job offer. Just contact the embassy and they will let you know what additional documents they need.

Hello there,

Thanks for your reply. Please note that I have already applied for the work permit last month as suggested by the Embassy. I hope that wont hamper my PR application because of that dual intent thing.
Cheers.
