Smile Paradigm shift - Job to Business

Hi All,
I am from India and have very recently got my visa stamped. Yet to arive at toronto. I have been in job for the last 10 years in IT industry. However I look forward to being self employed. This is kind of redemption opportunity for me. Salary cushion had built such high walls around me that I was kind of forced to stifle in its perimeter.
Hope to come across like minded people. Would need advice and encouragement from all on Canadian small business environment, some insights into govt policies, kind of business opportunities, maybe some business ideas etal.

Cheers
Rakesh
