Default I have a question....

I have a question....

I just went through two interviews with a rather large company (over 28 000 employees). After the second interview I was called to proceed with the second phase which was providing references and passing a medical exam.

It has been one week since I've passed the medical exam and I have not yet received any news so I was wondering what the normal waiting time is to get either a positive or negative answer from the company?

Is it true that normally the medical exam is only a formality and it most likely means that I have the job?

Also, should I follow up by email to let the company know that I am still very interested in the position?

You should definitely follow up. It shows that you are interested in the job and if they are interested in hiring you this will speed up the process.

I totally agree, you need to follow up. Large companies want to see candidates who are serious about wanting the job.
