Default Small catering business

Hi there everyone, just joined this site and am very excited. I am researching starting a small catering business that has been a dream of mine for over a decade. I'm looking for input regarding the thought of "intimate catering" in the clients own home for "romantic evenings", birthdays etc. for small groups (under 20) who would like to have the intimacy of staying at home but none of the prep/mess/cleanup. Any thoughts? Does anyone know of any laws/regulations etc.? Thanks

I think it's a great idea. I wouldn't use the service for say a dinner for my wife and I but for dinner parties and kid's parties it would be great. Clean-up would have to be included for me to even consider using the service. The last thing I want is to hire someone to come into my home to make a nice meal then I have to do the dishes after.

Some of the logistics might be interesting. Would you bring your own cooking tools such as pots, pans, etc?
