Intermediate Project Manager/ Environmental Engineer

Franz Environmental is seeking an Environmental Engineer at the Project Manager level to support a wide variety of multi-disciplinary environmental projects in Canada, the United States, South America and Germany. This individual will be based in our Mississauga, Ontario office. The ideal candidate will possess the following set of academic requirements and work experience:
Academic Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from a recognized university. Must have significant academic education in Business Administration and Project Management. Knowledge of Environmental Management Systems, ISO 14001 regulations, Ecological Accounting. Ability to register as a Professional Engineer in Ontario (PEO) or Engineer in Training (EIT).
Work Experience:
Minimum two years experience in a consulting environment including performing engineering calculations and written reports, development of project work plans, budget estimates and activity schedules, and subcontractor coordination. Significant project management experience and demonstrated independent and successful project completion is required.
Personal Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in English and German is required.
Other basic language skills (e.g. Spanish, French, Russian) considered an asset.
Motivated, team player, willingness to travel up to 50- 75% annually.
Willingness to work outside and in remote locations.
