Default can anyone give me info ??

I will be looking for a career change here in the new future, following surgery and recovery.

I am extremely interested in a career in the Alberta Tar Sands operating Haul Trucks or other like machinery.I do have a Heavy Equipment Course...15 weeks of training.I have been searching for training for the Haul Trucks here in Canada, but have had zero luck so far.Does such training exsist or is it more of an on the job type training by the employer for this kind of equipment??

Also just how hard is it to get into the Tar Sands?I had tried a number of years ago and maybe it was just bad timing, but they weren't interested .Not sure if it was my lack of actual experience on that type of equipment or what.
Any and all info and help would be greatly appreciated..
