Hi there JJ,

Actually, they're done just the same. A Curriculum Vitae still formally includes a summary of your educational and academic backgrounds as well as teaching and research experience, publications, presentations, awards, honors, affiliations and other details regardless of the country. In Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and the US, employers may expect to receive a curriculum vitae depending on the job offered. For instance, in the United States, a curriculum vitae is used primarily when applying for academic, education, scientific or research positions. It is also applicable when applying for fellowships or grants, whereas a resume will do for the other job applications like low level entry.
