Can I hold a US and Canadian PR the same time?

Hi there I want to apply for a Canadian Pr.
but if I already have a US PR. Will they allow me to do that? Am i allowed to have 2 PRs?

Or will they revoke one of mine?

Hi there I have bee a student in Canada since 2006.
I have also started working in August 2006 full time until November. Now i am still working for the same company, just part time.
