Planning to migrate to Vancouver....how much is rent up there?

Hello everyone, I am thinking of move to Vancouver, but my concern is the rent and how hard is to get an apartment.
Thanks.

It's not hard to rent an apartment in Vancouver. For example 2 bdr. apt. is $800 per month. I guess 1 bdr. will be around $600-650. It is cheaper than Toronto.
Where do you live now?

I guess it depends where. I asked the same question just the other day, to a co worker from Van. She said in the downtown area, expect to pay $12-1500 a month for a tiny bachelor.

I am from Mexico, but right now I live in Seattle, Wa.

It depends where you want to live. The downtown core sure is expensive but you can find something cheaper in the suburbs.
