Electrical Apprentices in BC

Any electricians or electrical contractors out there that can answer a question or two?

I'm currently a 2nd level Electrical Apprentice, and will be a 3rd in another month, when I finish my schooling. I'm looking to relocate to BC, but need some more info before deciding a course of action. (ie: move now, or stick around MB for another couple of years to get my ticket).

What is the going rate for third levels out in BC? Doesn't matter if it is commercial or residential, although most of my experience is in commercial. Also, what are the prospects like? Is there steady work, or are there periods of unemployment? Would you hire someone as a 3rd, if their experience has been gained in another province?

Many thanks for your time.
