Hello everyone,

Just wondering how important is it for my common-law to be able to support me financially? What if he does not meet the minimun requirements for income? My income in the other hand is more than enough.

It is important for the government. He has to be able to support you. There are some minimum requirements he has to meet. Check again with CIC to get the numbers strait or contact an immigration lawyer.
