East Coast Crab Fishing

Has anyone here experience in crab fishing in Canada? I hear its one of the most well paid manual labour jobs in the country.

I have no experience with sailing or fishing would it still be worth giving it a shot?

hmm, perhaps if you live there already then yah. if not make sure you have enough startup capital to move there and can find a house, etc.

Well I live in Montreal at the moment but I can make a bit of money and move to Nova Scotia or Newfoundland.

hmm, not many jobs in Montreal? ... perhaps consider Alberta oil rig industry, but if east coast is closer and living expenses lower.. then do that i guess :D

Isn't crab fishing a seasonal job? What are you going to do in between? I would strongly suggest you to continue your education if you have a desire to study.
