What my biggest frustration?- Need your help!

Hey guys, need your help!

I had two interviews last week via phone. Although the interviews went well and they want to hear from me for a second interview, I just found myself a little frustrated with the process. I did a search for “job interview help” and nothing really gave the answers I was looking for. Also, I was a little frustrated because I didn’t really know how much I should research about the company. It’s that little moment where you have 10 minutes before the call and you’re desperately trying to pull up your resume and you have 4 windows open trying to remember facts about the company. So lets avoid some of these situations in the future by helping each other. I have two questions for ya:

1. Specifically, what are your guys’ biggest fears/frustrations with the job interview process?
2. What is no one teaching you (forums, online information) that you feel is really necessary for you to do well?

I think it’s important to consider these questions so that we can start solving them as a community.

Thanks guys,

- Mark

I find that the most important thing for a job interview is to be calm and confident.

Prepration and Practice is Key

Yes, most of the people who come to us for our services mention the same issues you face. Anxiety, fear, "being put on the spot", repetitive, alone...these are some of the things we hear. Like any skill, interviewing takes practice and confidence. This is gained from finding professional help wither by coaches, courses, mock interviews, reading etc. Not everyone learns in the same manner, hence HRinmotion.com providing job preparation training either over the phone, in-person, or via the web. They provide training for job seekers and many well established business clients. Best of luck! Check them out, well worth it. From my personal dealings, they may be able to assist you
